Tomahawk Announces North American Tour: A Huge Waste Of Your Time And Money

In 1999, Mike Patton, the frontman of Faith No More and Mr. Bungle, formed the noise-rock supergroup Tomahawk with guitarist Duane Denison, bassist Kevin Rutmanis, and drummer John Stanier. Over the years, the lineup changed, with Trevor Dunn replacing Rutmanis. Tomahawk is now gearing up for a North American tour this summer after a hiatus since 2013.

Despite releasing their album "Tonic Immobility" during the pandemic, Tomahawk did not have the opportunity to tour in support of it. The band was also set to perform at the 2025 Sick New World festival, which was ultimately canceled. Now, Tomahawk is hitting the road with their labelmates, the Melvins, for a tour named "A Huge Waste Of Your Time And Money," celebrating their 25th anniversary as a band.

The tour will kick off in Nashville, TN, and make its way through cities like Austin, Dallas, New Orleans, Atlanta, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Boston, Buffalo, Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, Salt Lake City, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Tickets for the tour will go on sale on 2/27 at 10AM local time, with an Ipecac pre-sale starting on 2/25 at 10AM local time using the password "Flashback." Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to catch Tomahawk live in concert.
