A tragic incident occurred on Monday morning when a man walking on railroad tracks was hit and killed in East Lampeter Township. The victim, identified as Jeremy Charles, 39, of Holtwood, was an Amtrak employee working with a crew near High Steel. The Lancaster County coroner confirmed the fatality, and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
