Tragic Two-Vehicle Crash Claims Two Lives in Morrow County, Ohio: Importance of Seatbelt Safety Emphasized

Skylar Beveridge, 27, from Mount Gilead, was driving a Jeep Liberty eastbound when the collision happened. Brody Vance, 18, from Marion, was driving a GMC Sierra westbound. Beveridge's Jeep crossed the center line and was struck on the passenger side by Vance's truck. The vehicles came to rest on opposite sides of the road after the impact. Vance sustained serious injuries and was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital, while Beveridge was transported to Morrow County Hospital, where he later passed away. Tragically, a 10-year-old girl who was a passenger in the Jeep also lost her life in the crash. It was noted that the occupants of the Jeep were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
