Maryland State Police Seek Suspect in Baltimore Trooper Shooting Incident
Maryland State Police are currently seeking an unidentified suspect who shot at a trooper during a traffic stop in Baltimore early Tuesday morning. The incident occurred at the intersection of Belle Avenue and Milford Avenue at approximately 3:30am. The trooper had pulled over a gray Infiniti for a traffic violation when shots were fired from inside the vehicle as the trooper approached. Although the trooper was not injured, he did sustain "powdered burns" from the firearm discharge and had to be hospitalized.
