Ed Skrein has joined the cast of Prime Video's God of War, playing the character Baldur, the youngest son of Odin. Baldur is a charismatic and unpredictable character with a razor-sharp tongue. Cursed as a boy, he is unable to feel pleasure or physical sensation, leading to anger and bloodlust. Baldur is a formidable fighter who longs for a worthy opponent. The series follows Kratos and his son Atreus on a journey to spread the ashes of their wife and mother, Faye. The cast also includes Teresa Palmer as Phoebe/Sif, Max Parker as Heimdall, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson as Thor, and Alastair Duncan as Mimir. God of War has been given a two-season order and is co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios. Ronald D. Moore serves as writer, showrunner, and executive producer, with a team of talented producers and directors on board for the series.
