Alexis P. Suter Band Pays Tribute to George Harrison with 'Isn't It a Pity' Live Cover Featuring Garth Hudson

Today, on what would have been George Harrison's 83rd birthday, the Alexis P. Suter Band released a live cover of Harrison's "Isn't It a Pity" in collaboration with the late Garth Hudson of The Band. The track, recorded in 2011 in New York's Hudson Valley, showcases Suter's powerful gospel-inspired vocals and Hudson's accordion skills in one of his final recordings. This rendition is the second single from Suter's upcoming ninth album, "Just Stay Live: Recorded Live at the Falcon," set to be released on March 17th via NOLA Blue Records. The album features a mix of gospel, blues, jam, and rock and roll, including songs by Harrison, Bob Dylan, and Gregg Allman, as well as original compositions by Suter.
