Jonathan Majors Stars in Untitled Action Film: A Throwback to '80s and '90s Classics

Jonathan Majors, known for his roles in Creed III and Ant-Man, is currently filming his first movie in four years in South Carolina. The untitled action film is being produced by The Daily Wire and Bonfire Legend, with Kyle Rankin directing from his own screenplay. The plot is being kept under wraps but is said to be reminiscent of '80s and '90s action movies like Red Dawn and Toy Soldiers, focusing on a group of teenage boys banding together to defeat invading enemies.
Ben Shapiro and Dallas Sonnier are producing the film for The Daily Wire and Bonfire Legend, with Travis Mills, Lillian Campbell, and Sydney Aucreman also on board as producers. Majors, whose career faced setbacks after a legal issue in 2023, is making a comeback and is also set to star in the supernatural revenge thriller Merciless. The Daily Wire has a history of supporting 'cancelled' actors, having previously given comeback roles to Armie Hammer and Gina Carano.
The new movie marks a collaboration between The Daily Wire, Bonfire Legend, and Rankin, who previously worked together on the film Run Hide Fight. The production team includes Caleb Robinson, Mike Richards, and Majors for Tall Street Productions, with Kristopher Kimlin as cinematographer and David Guglielmo handling casting. Vincent Reynaud is the production designer, and Emma Fleming is the costume designer for the project.
Majors is represented by WME and Fox Rothschild, while Rankin is represented by UTA, Greenlit Management, and attorney Stephen Clark. The film reunites the team behind Run Hide Fight and is expected to bring a fresh take on the action genre with Majors in the lead role. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project.
