Despite a long day of golf and a few drinks, DeMarcus woke up in Detroit to urgent calls from his wife. Kid Rock's generosity allowed him to witness his son's birth and make it back to Detroit for a show, performing in hospital scrubs. DeMarcus's son, Dylan, humorously mentioned that he has heard the story multiple times and is proud of his dad's timely return.
