BTS Jungkook Opens Up About Idol Challenges and Security Concerns Ahead of World Tour
During a recent Weverse live session, BTS member Jungkook shared candid thoughts about the challenges faced by idols like him, expressing indifference towards those who dislike him. Concerns arose among fans after clips from the session circulated online, with many worried about Jungkook's well-being and mental health. The K-pop singer's remarks came in the wake of a troubling incident outside his Seoul apartment, where two foreign women were caught attempting to breach the security system. Dealing with sasaengs, or obsessive fans, is not new for BTS, as Jungkook had previously voiced his frustration with such intrusive behavior. Despite these challenges, BTS is gearing up for a comeback world tour following the release of their highly anticipated studio album, Arirang. The tour is set to commence in Goyang, South Korea, on April 9, with stops planned in major cities across the globe, including Los Angeles, London, Chicago, Sydney, and Santiago, as well as various Asian destinations like Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Manila, and Singapore. The band's last studio album, Proof, was released in 2022.
