16th Annual Guild of Music Supervisors Awards: Celebrating Excellence in Music Supervision and Songwriting

The 16th annual Guild of Music Supervisors Awards celebrated the best achievements in music supervision and songwriting. Winners included "Sinners," "Marty Supreme," and "One Battle After Another." The TV winners included "The Lowdown" and "The Studio." Raphael Saadiq's "I Lied To You" from "Sinners" won Best Song Written and/or Recorded for a Film, and Saadiq received the Icon Award. Robin Kaye was posthumously honored with the Legacy Award. Live performances included Saadiq, Ludwig Göransson, Brittany Howard, Diane Warren, Sharon Farber, Eden Kontesz, Keith Secola, and Cris Chil. John Legend, Kate Hudson, and Flavor Flav made appearances at the event.

The Guild of Music Supervisors Awards Production Committee, led by President Lindsay Wolfington, organized the event. The winners included Niki Sherrod for "Sinners," Gabe Hilfer for "Marty Supreme," Sarah Bromberg and Stephanie Diaz-Matos for "One of Them Days," and Frankie Pine for "Nonnas." In television, Tiffany Anders won for "The Lowdown," Gabe Hilfer for "The Studio," and Meryl Ginsberg, Sara Torres, and Jordan Young for "Love Island USA." The winners in documentaries and advertising were also recognized, along with those in trailers and video games.
