Doctor Doom's Right-Hand Man Revealed: Is Doctor Strange Joining Forces with Doom in the Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four Crossover Film?

Doctor Doom is set to have a formidable army in the upcoming Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four crossover film, with reports suggesting that his right-hand man will be a former member of the Avengers. According to scooper Daniel Richtman, Doctor Doom's right-hand man will be a "wizard" who utilizes a sling ring, a device used by sorcerers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to create portals to other locations or dimensions. This has led fans to speculate that Doctor Strange may be working alongside Doom in the movie, a theory that seems to have gained traction.
In a recent Patreon post, Richtman revealed more details about Doom's right-hand man, describing him as wearing a mask similar to Doom's but with a slot for a third eye on his forehead. This detail, coupled with Doctor Strange's acquisition of a third eye in the Multiverse of Madness film, further supports the idea that Strange will be aligned with Doom in the upcoming Avengers installment. Additionally, scooper MAJESTIC_ucm has corroborated Richtman's report, confirming that it will be the Earth-616 Doctor Strange who serves as Doom's right-hand man, alongside other powerful followers like Wanda, Clea, a shapeshifter posing as Peggy, and Master Hulk.
As of now, actors Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Charlize Theron, Hayley Atwell, and Mark Ruffalo, who portray Doctor Strange, Wanda, Clea, Peggy, and Hulk respectively, have not been officially confirmed by Marvel Studios to appear in Avengers: Doomsday. However, given Marvel's penchant for secrecy, it is plausible that these actors are indeed part of the film and their involvement is being kept under wraps. Fans will have to wait until the movie's release on December 18, 2026, as part of Phase 6 of the MCU, to see how the story unfolds and the roles these characters play in the epic crossover event.
