Marcus Portbury Appointed Regional President for Asia Middle East at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance
Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has appointed Marcus Portbury as the new Regional President for Asia Middle East (AME) and the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Branch, pending regulatory approval. Marcus will be taking over from Marc Breuil, who is retiring from the company and the insurance industry. Peter Eastwood, President and CEO of BHSI, praised Marcus for his contributions to the growth of the business in the region and expressed gratitude to Marc Breuil for his leadership and achievements in establishing a strong portfolio and team in Asia and the Middle East.
Marcus Portbury, who has been with BHSI since 2014 and most recently held the position of Regional Head of Third-Party Lines, Asia, brings over three decades of insurance industry experience to his new roles.
