Meet Miami Hurricanes' New Tight Ends Coach: Mike Viti, A Leader On and Off the Field
Miami Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal has appointed Mike Viti, the associate head coach and offensive line coach at Army, as the new tight ends coach for the team. Viti, a West Point graduate, brings a wealth of experience from his 10-year tenure at Army, where he led the offensive line to great success, including winning the Joe Moore Award in 2024. He has a background as a former college running back and served in Afghanistan, earning a Bronze Star and a Combat Action Badge. Viti is also known for his charitable work, co-founding the Legacies Alive Foundation to support Gold Star families. His appointment brings a unique blend of coaching expertise and personal dedication to the Miami Hurricanes coaching staff.
