Michigan's Department of State Launches 'I Voted' Sticker Contest for November 2026 Election

Michigan's Department of State is bringing back the popular "I Voted" sticker contest for the November 2026 election. The contest is open to students in Michigan schools and state residents who can submit their creative designs to promote democracy and encourage voter participation. Secretary Benson is excited to see the innovative ways Michiganders will celebrate democracy through this contest.
In the previous contest held in 2024, the Michigan Department of State received an impressive 480 submissions for the "I Voted" sticker design. This year, participants are required to choose one category and submit a single design that is nonpartisan and includes the phrase "I Voted." The artwork must be original, not AI-generated, and free from copyrighted or trademarked designs.
The public will have the chance to vote for their favorite designs online during the month of June. The winners will be announced later in the summer and will receive special recognition from MDOS. The winning sticker designs will be distributed to local election clerks for the November Election to be given out to voters in their respective jurisdictions.
