Ringo Starr's 'Long Long Road' Album: A Musical Journey with T Bone Burnett

Ringo Starr is set to release his upcoming album "Long Long Road" on April 24 through UMe. The album, a follow-up to his previous work "Look Up," was co-written and produced by T Bone Burnett. Featuring 10 songs, the album includes collaborations with artists like Billy Strings, Sheryl Crow, and St. Vincent. The lead single, "It's Been Too Long," features vocals from Molly Tuttle and Sarah Jarosz.
Starr expressed his gratitude for working with T Bone Burnett on both albums, stating that the collaboration felt natural. The album, titled "Long Long Road," reflects Starr's journey in the music industry. Six of the songs were written or co-written by Burnett, two by Starr and Bruce Sugar, one by Starr, Mark Hudson, and Gary Burr, and one by Bernie Benjamin and George David Weiss, originally recorded by Carl Perkins.
Recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles, the album features many musicians from the "Look Up" project, including Paul Franklin, David Mansfield, Dennis Crouch, and others. Burnett praised Starr's talent and expressed his admiration for the artist's unique style. He highlighted the energy and creativity brought by the young musicians involved in the project.
