2026 World Video Game Hall of Fame Finalists Announced: Which Games Will Make the Cut?

The Strong National Museum of Play’s World Video Game Hall of Fame has announced the finalists for the class of 2026. Among the 12 video games being considered for induction are classic arcade games, popular franchises, sports games, and even a mobile game. The list of finalists includes titles like ‘Angry Birds’ and ‘Frogger,’ which were contenders last year but did not make the cut. The games that were inducted last year were ‘Defender,’ ‘Goldeneye 007,’ ‘Tamagotchi,’ and ‘Quake.’
