Beef Season 2: A Country Club Drama Unfolds with Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan

Netflix has released a sneak peek of the upcoming second season of A24's Beef, a Golden Globe-winning anthology series created by Lee Sung Jin. The teaser for Season 2 introduces a new storyline set in a country club, featuring two couples played by Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, and Cailee Spaeny. The season, premiering on April 16, follows a Gen-Z couple who get caught up in the marital drama between their Millennial boss and his wife.

The plot revolves around Ashley Miller (Spaeny) and Austin Davis (Melton), employees at a country club, who witness the turbulent relationship between their general manager, Joshua Martín (Isaac), and his wife, Lindsay Crane-Martín (Mulligan). As the couples compete for the approval of the club's owner, Chairwoman Park (Youn Yuh-hung), tensions rise amidst personal scandals and power struggles.

Season 2 of Beef promises to deliver the same level of intensity and drama as the first season, with a focus on conflicts between couples and different generations. The series draws inspiration from Lee's own experiences, including a road rage incident, which served as the basis for the acclaimed first season starring Steven Yeun and Ali Wong.

The debut season of Beef received critical acclaim, winning multiple Emmy Awards and Golden Globes. With a new cast and storyline, Season 2 is set to captivate audiences with its gripping narrative and compelling characters. Don't miss the premiere on April 16 for another round of thrilling drama and suspense.
