Jacki Weaver Joins NBC's The Rockford Files Pilot: Meet the Cast and Characters

Jacki Weaver has been cast in NBC's The Rockford Files pilot, joining David Boreanaz and Michaela McManus. The show is a modern take on the original series, following James Rockford, a private investigator who returns to his job after being wrongly imprisoned. Weaver will play Rockford's neighbor, a strong and vocal activist. McManus will portray Kate, a detective with a complicated relationship with Rockford. The pilot will be shot in Atlanta and Los Angeles, with the potential series location still undecided. The project is created by Mike Daniels and produced by Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly.
