Warren Zevon's Final Live Performance Commemorated with Special Vinyl Release: Epilogue

Warren Zevon's final live performance at the Edmonton Folk Music Festival in August 2002 is being commemorated with a special vinyl release. The album, titled Epilogue: Live at the Edmonton Folk Music Festival, will be available on two-LP opaque metallic silver vinyl on April 17. This release marks Zevon's last live performance before his passing in September 2003 at the age of 56. The reissue includes an etched fourth side and liner notes from bandmate Matt Cartsonis, who performed with Zevon during the show.

Originally released in November 2025 on black vinyl for Record Store Day Black Friday, Epilogue features iconic Zevon tracks like "Werewolves of London," "Poor Poor Pitiful Me," and "Lawyers, Guns And Money." The album also includes the rare live performance of "Dirty Life and Times," which was only played twice. Following his performance at the Edmonton Folk Festival, Zevon was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, leading to his untimely death.

In November, Zevon was posthumously inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in the musical influence category, honoring his impactful career in the music industry.
