Boston Bruins Acquire Massimo Rizzo and Alexis Gendron in Trade with Philadelphia Flyers

The Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers have made a trade involving prospects. The Bruins have acquired forwards Massimo Rizzo and Alexis Gendron from the Flyers in exchange for forward Brett Harrison and defenseman Jackson Edward. Rizzo, a 24-year-old forward from Burnaby, B.C., has recorded six goals and 16 assists in 29 games with the ECHL's Reading Royals this season. Gendron, a 22-year-old forward, has scored 10 goals and 12 assists in 47 games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in the AHL.
Harrison, a 22-year-old forward, has played 46 games with the Providence Bruins in the AHL this season, registering eight goals and nine assists. He has a total of 19 goals and 30 assists in 140 career AHL games, all with the Bruins, since being drafted 85th overall in 2021. Edward, also 22, has split his time between the AHL and ECHL this season. He has seven assists with the Maine Mariners in the ECHL.
The trade between the Bruins and Flyers involves promising young players moving between the two teams.
