Celebrating Excellence: Liverpool Tourism Awards 2021

The Event/Festival of the Year category sponsored by The Guide Liverpool showcased the public's involvement in the voting process. The International Beatleweek Festival won the accolade, reflecting the region's love for music and major events. Hot Water Comedy Club was named Entertainment Venue of the Year, standing out in a competitive category.
Southport celebrated two wins with The Bold Hotel as Small Serviced Accommodation of the Year and Sunnyside Guest House as Independent Tourism Business of the Year. These awards highlight the town's reputation for high-quality accommodation and exceptional service.
The Municipal Hotel & Spa – MGallery Liverpool was recognized as Large Hotel of the Year, with Abigail Royle winning Tourism Young Person of the Year. This showcases the hotel's excellence in service and support for the next generation of hospitality professionals.
The ceremony featured three double winners, including Strawberry Field for Regenerative Tourism Award and Small Visitor Attraction of the Year, and The Beatles Story for Large Visitor Attraction of the Year and International Tourism Award. Daffodil, winner of New Tourism Business of the Year, also made a mark in the region's independent scene.
The event highlighted the talent and commitment driving the visitor economy in the Liverpool City Region. The awards honored individuals, businesses, and organizations that have welcomed thousands of visitors, showcasing the best of Liverpool's tourism industry.
