Dolphins Roster Overhaul: Veteran Players Released to Make Room for New Talent

The Miami Dolphins are making changes to their roster by parting ways with two veteran players. Fullback Alec Ingold and kicker Jason Sanders are both expected to be released. Ingold was set to earn $3.55 million this year, while Sanders was in talks for a new contract. The team will save over $3 million in cap space by releasing Ingold and nearly $4 million by cutting Sanders.

In addition to Ingold and Sanders, the Dolphins have also let go of wide receiver Tyreek Hill, edge rusher Bradley Chubb, wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, and offensive lineman James Daniels. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is also likely to be out as the team undergoes a roster overhaul under new head coach Jeff Hafley and General Manager Jon-Eric Sullivan.

The Dolphins are making significant changes to their roster by releasing several veteran players. These moves will free up cap space and allow the team to rebuild under new leadership.
