Gorillaz Tops U.K. Charts with The Mountain, BLACKPINK's Deadline EP Enters at No. 11

Gorillaz secures its third U.K. No. 1 album with The Mountain, topping the Official Albums Chart with 30,000 units sold in the opening week. The band's previous chart-topping albums include Demon Days in 2005 and Cracker Island in 2023. The Mountain is also the biggest independent release of 2026 so far. BLACKPINK's Deadline EP enters the chart at No. 11, marking the K-pop group's third top 20 placement. Their previous releases, The Album and Born Pink, reached No. 2 and No. 1, respectively.
