The 10th annual Love Rocks NYC Benefit Concert was held at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, featuring performances by renowned artists such as Billy F Gibbons, Elvis Costello, Hozier, Jon Batiste, Linda Perry, Mary J. Blige, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Paul Simon, and more. The event, presented by Bloomberg Philanthropies, aimed to raise funds for God's Love We Deliver, a nonprofit organization that provides medically tailored meals to individuals with severe and chronic illnesses.
Anne Hathaway released a new single titled "Burial" from the upcoming film "Mother Mary." The synth-pop ballad, co-written by Hathaway, Charli XCX, Jack Antonoff, and George Daniel of The 1975, will be featured on the soundtrack album for the movie. "Mother Mary," directed by David Lowery, stars Hathaway as a pop star facing an existential crisis and is set to premiere in theaters on April 17.
The Milano–Cortina Winter Paralympics began with the Opening Ceremony at the Verona Arena in Verona, Italy. A total of 612 athletes from 56 National Paralympic Committees will compete in 79 medal events over the course of the Games, which will run from March 6 to March 15. The ceremony, titled "Life in Motion," featured performances by Stewart Copeland and Mimì Caruso, with China, the United States, Canada, and Italy fielding the largest delegations of athletes.
