Additionally, Duwaji liked posts from "The People's Forum" Instagram account, which is linked to promoting pro-China, pro-Russia, and pro-Iran propaganda. These posts included slogans calling for the elimination of Israel from the lands between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea.
Despite requests for comment, Duwaji did not respond, and Mayor Mamdani's office reiterated his condemnation of Hamas as a terrorist organization and the Oct. 7 attack as a war crime.
