Reba Reunion: Melissa Peterman and JoAnna Garcia Swisher Team Up on Happy’s Place
Melissa Peterman and JoAnna Garcia Swisher, former costars on the show Reba, reunited on the set of Happy’s Place. They had a great time working together again and even managed to prank call Steve Howey. Peterman shared how they enjoyed catching up and integrating their Reba TV family with the Happy’s Place crew.
Swisher is set to appear in an upcoming episode of Happy’s Place as a local influencer named Kenzie. Her character is hired to represent Happy’s Place for a social media marketing campaign, much to the dismay of Bobbie. Swisher is the third Reba alum to make a guest appearance on the show, following in the footsteps of Christopher Rich and Steve Howey.
Swisher expressed her excitement about reuniting with her former Reba castmates on the sitcom stage. She hinted at the possibility of more Reba stars making appearances on Happy’s Place in the future. Peterman also shared a humorous idea she had pitched to the writers involving Swisher's character as a con artist surrogate.
The actresses discussed the potential of joining forces on Swisher’s Netflix series Sweet Magnolias in the future. Happy’s Place airs on NBC on Fridays at 8 p.m. ET and is available for streaming on Peacock the following day. The upcoming episode featuring Swisher is set to air on March 13.
