The Toronto Maple Leafs have traded forward Bobby McMann to the Seattle Kraken, according to a report by Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman. This move comes as part of the Maple Leafs' efforts to make changes during a disappointing season. Earlier in the week, center Nic Roy was also traded to the Colorado Avalanche. McMann, a 29-year-old player from Wainwright, Alberta, has played 200 NHL games, all with Toronto, and has accumulated 91 points. In the current season, he has scored 19 goals and provided 13 assists for a total of 32 points in 60 games.
McMann, who was not drafted into the league, signed with Toronto as a free agent in April 2022. He is now set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer.
