Tragic Case of Cleveland Mother Accused of Killing Daughters Unfolds: Updates on Aliyah Henderson's Aggravated Murder Charges

A Cleveland mother, Aliyah Henderson, is facing charges of aggravated murder for allegedly killing her two daughters, Amor Wilson and Mila Chatman, and burying them in suitcases in a field. Henderson will be arraigned in Cleveland Municipal Court on Friday. The bodies of the girls were discovered near E. 162nd Street and Midland Avenue in the city’s South Collinwood neighborhood. Henderson was arrested after a search warrant was executed at a home on E. 162nd. A third child found in the home is now in the custody of the Department of Children and Family Services. The victims had been in the field for some time before being discovered by a man walking his dog. Cleveland Police Chief Dorothy Todd emphasized the importance of confidentiality in the investigation to ensure justice for the victims. A vigil will be held at the site where the girls were found on Friday at 4 p.m.
