Iowa Hawkeyes Shine at NCAA Women’s Wrestling National Championships: Title Matches Await!

The NCAA Women’s Wrestling National Championships in Coralville, Iowa, showcased the talent of the Iowa Hawkeyes with four wrestlers advancing to title matches and five securing podium spots. Valarie Solorio, Reese Larramendy, Kennedy Blades, and Kylie Welker are all in contention to become the first-ever NCAA champions in their respective weight classes. Nyla Valencia and Brianna Gonzalez finished in third place, while Lilly Luft and Katja Osteen secured fourth place. Karlee Brooks earned the seventh-place spot. Brianna Gonzalez also finished in third place at 117 pounds. Karlee Brooks claimed seventh place at 131 pounds. Lilly Luft faced some challenges but finished in fourth place at 138 pounds. Reese Larramendy dominated her way to the title match at 145 pounds. Kennedy Blades advanced to the championship match at 160 pounds, and Kylie Welker secured a spot in the championship match at 180 pounds.

All title matches will take place later today at Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa.
