Former Seminole Standouts Join Lincoln High School Coaching Staff in Tallahassee

A new addition to Lincoln High School's coaching staff in Tallahassee, Florida, is former Florida State Seminole Pat Watkins, who will serve as the Trojans' defensive coordinator under head coach Matt Jackson. Jackson took over the program in 2025 and has been working on reshaping the team since then. Watkins, a Tallahassee native, brings a wealth of experience, having previously coached at Godby High School and Florida A&M, where he excelled in defensive coaching.

Pat Watkins, a former standout at Lincoln High School and Florida State University, had a successful college career with the Seminoles, showcasing his skills on the field. He later went on to play in the NFL for the Dallas Cowboys and the San Diego Chargers before transitioning to the Canadian Football League, where he achieved significant success. Watkins' experience and expertise will be valuable assets to the Trojans as they aim to strengthen their defense and improve their performance on the field.

Joining Watkins on the coaching staff is Rashad Greene, another former Seminole and 2013 national champion, who will serve as the Trojans' offensive coordinator. Greene, known for his impressive career at Florida State, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team, further enhancing the coaching staff's capabilities. With the addition of Watkins and Greene, Lincoln High School is poised to continue its rebuilding efforts and strive for success in the upcoming seasons.
