Exciting Additions to the Tanglewood Popular Artist Series Summer Lineup

The Tanglewood Popular Artist Series is bringing some exciting performances this summer with three new additions to the lineup. The series will feature Hugh Jackman, Brandi Carlile, and the duo of John Fogerty and Steve Winwood.

Hugh Jackman, known for his Grammy, Emmy, and Tony awards, will be making his Tanglewood and Boston Pops debut on August 11. He will be performing alongside conductor Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops. Jackman's recent film "Song Sung Blue" received critical acclaim, and he is set to star in A24's thriller "The Death of Robin Hood."

Brandi Carlile will take the stage on August 18, returning to Tanglewood after a sold-out show in 2024. The 11-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer's latest album, "Returning to Myself," reached the top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart. She recently wowed audiences at TD Garden with her performance.

Rock icons John Fogerty and Steve Winwood will join forces for a performance on September 6. Both artists have graced the Tanglewood stage before, with Winwood appearing in 1991 and Fogerty in 2024. Fogerty, known as the lead singer and guitarist of Creedence Clearwater Revival, is a Grammy winner and a member of the Rock and Roll and Songwriters Hall of Fame. Winwood, a co-founder of Traffic and a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, has sold over 50 million records in his five-decade career.

Tickets for these exciting shows will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. and can be purchased online at Tanglewood.org or by calling 888-266-1200. The Symphony Hall Box Office will also have tickets available during regular hours. Don't miss out on these incredible performances!
