Chrissie Hynde Teases Exciting Updates on New Pretenders Album and Creative Projects

Chrissie Hynde has exciting news to share with fans about a new Pretenders album. In a recent social media post, she revealed that she and guitarist James Walbourne have been working on new material for the upcoming album, tentatively titled Outlaw. The duo plans to start recording the album in the next few months.
In addition to the new Pretenders album, Hynde is also working on two other projects. One project involves collaborating with Moreno Veloso, Kassin Kassin, and Domenico Lancellotti from the Brazilian band The +2s. The other project is Valve Bone Woe Volume 2, a follow-up to her 2019 jazz-influenced solo album. Hynde also mentioned that she is preparing for another painting exhibit, as she enjoys painting and wants to share her work with others.
Despite not being on tour since July, Hynde expressed her feelings about being off the road in her post. She mentioned missing the band, backstage, dressing rooms, scaffolding, and crew. However, she humorously added that she misses the catering the most, but ultimately, she misses the fans the most.
Overall, Chrissie Hynde is keeping busy with various creative projects and is looking forward to sharing new music and art with her fans in the near future.
