Fortinet Unveils Advanced SecOps Platform at Accelerate 2026: Enhancing AI Capabilities, FortiSOC Preview, Managed Services, and Endpoint Security

Fortinet, a global cybersecurity leader, unveiled significant advancements in its Security Operations (SecOps) platform at Fortinet Accelerate 2026. The updates include enhanced AI capabilities, a preview of FortiSOC, managed services, and improved endpoint security through FortiEndpoint. These innovations aim to address the evolving threat landscape where attackers leverage AI to expedite malicious activities.
In response to the AI-driven threats, Fortinet is introducing a unified, AI-powered security operations platform that enables organizations to enhance their security operations with speed and coordination. This platform offers a scalable operating architecture across the defense framework, allowing organizations to optimize their Security Operations Center (SOC) through a single architecture that spans self-managed, cloud, and managed deployments.
The Fortinet Security Operations Platform consolidates telemetry, analytics, threat intelligence, and response capabilities across the kill chain, simplifying investigations and reducing complexity for security teams. This release focuses on SOC modernization, agentic AI execution, FortiGuard managed services, and streamlined endpoint security to help organizations defend against threats effectively.
At Accelerate 2026, Fortinet introduced FortiSOC, a cloud-delivered service that integrates core capabilities from FortiAnalyzer, FortiSIEM, FortiSOAR, and FortiTIP into a unified platform. This offering enhances SOC operations by providing log ingestion, normalization, correlation, automation, case management, behavioral analytics, and identity-focused investigations through a single console. Additionally, FortiAI advancements enable agentic workflows across security operations, automating alert triage, investigation, threat hunting, and maintaining shared context for improved response workflows.
Fortinet also enhanced its FortiGuard SOC-as-a-Service, offering continuous monitoring and escalation services with expanded capabilities for multivendor monitoring, Security Fabric integrations, and improved detection fidelity across hybrid environments. Furthermore, FortiEndpoint was introduced to simplify endpoint security by consolidating multiple endpoint products, reducing agent sprawl, and enhancing protection against emerging threats, including AI application misuse.
These innovations strengthen Fortinet's SecOps platform by modernizing SOC operations, previewing a cloud SOC experience, expanding agentic AI capabilities, enhancing managed coverage, and simplifying endpoint security. The unified architecture reduces operational complexity, accelerates investigations, and enables organizations to defend against AI-driven threats effectively.
