Seattle Sounders Secure Key Players for Future Success

Seattle Sounders have extended the contract of Osaze De Rosario, the son of Canadian soccer legend Dwayne De Rosario, until the 2028-29 season with options for 2029-30. Osaze, a 24-year-old forward, initially joined the team in May 2025 after impressing with the Tacoma Defiance. He was recognized as the inaugural recipient of the Sounders' Pathway Player of the Year award in 2025 for his goal-scoring prowess. Prior to his time with Seattle, Osaze played for York United FC and had stints in Toronto FC's and New York City FC's academies, as well as a professional spell with Ukrainian club Rukh Lviv. He represents Guyana internationally, while his younger brother, Adisa De Rosario, is a goalkeeper for Toronto FC.

In addition to Osaze De Rosario, Seattle Sounders have also secured new deals with Nouhou, Alex Roldan, and Danny Musovski. Nouhou and Roldan have signed contracts through the 2028-2029 season with options for 2029-2030, while Musovski's deal runs until the 2027-2028 campaign with a club option for 2028-2029.
