Introducing the Toll Rates for the Gordie Howe International Bridge: What You Need to Know

The Gordie Howe International Bridge has announced the toll rates for when it opens. The standard toll for passenger vehicles will be $8 [$5.75 US], while commercial trucks and oversized vehicles will pay $12 [$8.75]. Additionally, a "Breakaway" tag program will offer discounted rates for motorists using any open toll lane. The bridge will open this spring and will connect Ontario's Highway 401 with Michigan's Interstate-75, featuring six traffic lanes, 16 toll lanes, and 60 inspection lanes.
