Universal has secured the rights to produce a feature film about the band's journey, with writer Cody Brotter working on the script. The film will delve into the band's beginnings in 1983 and their rise to fame, culminating in their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. The project will have access to Bon Jovi's extensive music catalog and will receive input from frontman Jon Bon Jovi.

The biopic will focus on the band's formative years and the milestones that led to their global success, filling stadiums with their rock anthems. While original members Jon Bon Jovi, David Bryan, and Tico Torres are still part of the band, guitarist Richie Sambora departed in 2013, and bassist Alec John Such left in 1994. The film will be produced by Kevin J. Walsh and Gotham Chopra, with Universal's Jacqueline Garell overseeing the project. The studio's decision to venture into the music biopic genre follows the success of films like "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Elvis."
