Authorities are currently searching for a man from Northshore who is wanted for driving the wrong way on Interstate 10 and causing a fatal crash. Manmeet Singh, 30, is facing charges of vehicular homicide, reckless driving, and driving in the wrong direction. The incident occurred in September on Interstate 10 in St. John the Baptist Parish, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Patricia Saidu, a recent college graduate.

While Saidu tragically lost her life in the crash, Singh sustained serious injuries and was treated at University Medical Center in New Orleans before being released. Singh was residing in Ponchatoula and working as a ride-share driver in the New Orleans area prior to the incident.

Following an investigation by Louisiana State Police and U.S. Marshals, Singh reportedly disappeared, leaving his family behind.
