Sammy Hagar's Best of All Worlds Tour: New Lineup, Same Rocking Energy!

Sammy Hagar is set to kick off his Best of All Worlds Tour this summer with a slight change in the band lineup. Greg Phillinganes from Toto will be taking over keyboard duties instead of the usual Rai Thistlethwayte. Hagar recently shared the reason for the switch on social media, citing Thistlethwayte's new role in Toto.
Hagar's tour will begin with six concerts in March at Dolby Live in Las Vegas, where Thistlethwayte will still be part of the band. Following this, the summer tour will start on June 13 in St. Louis, featuring Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani, and Kenny Aronoff. Phillinganes will join the band for this leg of the tour until June 27. Hagar will then return to his Vegas residency in September.
In a 2025 interview with Rolling Stone, Hagar discussed his touring plans and the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of performing. He expressed his desire to continue performing but highlighted the challenges of travel. Hagar emphasized that he would never officially announce retirement but would simply step away when the time comes.
As Hagar looks ahead to his upcoming tour and Vegas residency, fans can expect an electrifying experience with a mix of classic hits and new energy on stage. Don't miss the chance to see the Red Rocker in action this summer!
