Jay Weinberg's Drum Gear and Memorabilia Sale: A Musical Journey for a Cause

Renowned drummer Jay Weinberg is set to launch a sale of his gear and memorabilia on his Reverb shop starting March 18th. A portion of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to MusiCares, a charity that supports working musicians by providing health services, addiction recovery, and financial assistance.
The collection includes full drum kits used by Weinberg during his time with bands like Slipknot and the E Street Band, where he backed Bruce Springsteen. Fans can also find masks and stage outfits worn by Weinberg during his tenure with Slipknot.
Weinberg's impressive drumming career spans across various bands, including Suicidal Tendencies, Against Me!, Madball, and Hesitation Wounds. He joined Slipknot in 2014, taking over the drumming duties from founding member Joey Jordison.
The sale offers a range of drum kits, snares, cymbals, and drum thrones, making it a must-visit for both fans of Slipknot and musicians looking for quality equipment.
Among the highlights is a custom-designed kit created in collaboration with SJC Custom Drums and tattoo artist Thomas Hooper, used during the tour for Slipknot's album "We Are Not Your Kind." Another standout piece is the "Pokemon Vomit" kit, hand-painted by Weinberg himself, inspired by his time touring with Against Me!
Fans can also purchase drumheads used during the recording sessions of "We Are Not Your Kind," categorized by the songs they were used on, allowing them to own a piece of music history. Additionally, an electronic Roland V-Drum kit used for writing material for both "We Are Not Your Kind" and the subsequent record, "The End, So Far," will be available for sale.
In January, Weinberg announced his departure from Suicidal Tendencies after a two-year stint. Don't miss this unique opportunity to own a piece of Jay Weinberg's musical journey while supporting a great cause through the MusiCares charity.
