David Morse has joined the cast of Paramount+’s Taylor Sheridan-produced drama “Mayor of Kingstown” alongside Jeremy Renner and Edie Falco. The final season, Season 5, has begun production, with Morse playing the role of FBI agent Russell Hardy sent to Kingstown. The season will also feature Laura Benanti, Hugh Dillon, Taylor Handley, Tobi Bamtefa, Derek Webster, Necar Zadegan, Nichole Galicia, and Lennie James reprising their roles. The logline for Season 5 follows the aftermath of Tracy’s murder and the pursuit of Callahan by Mike and Kyle, with Agent Hardy threatening to expose Mike’s secrets and disrupt Kingstown’s power balance. Morse’s extensive credits include various TV shows and films, earning Emmy and Tony Award nominations for his performances. “Mayor of Kingstown” was co-created by Sheridan and Dillon, with a star-studded lineup of executive producers. Production images have been released to mark the start of filming.
