High End: A Thrilling Collaboration with Andrea Riseborough, Guy Pearce, Raffey Cassidy, and Alessandro Nivola
Andrea Riseborough and Guy Pearce have joined the cast of Antonia Campbell-Hughes’ upcoming thriller film, High End, alongside Raffey Cassidy and Alessandro Nivola. The production of the film started in Geneva, Switzerland, on March 8 and will continue in Ireland until April 10. The story revolves around a young intern named Nollaig who steals precious diamonds from her host family, leading to a dark and revealing journey within their affluent expatriate community.
The film is a collaboration between Ireland’s Cuala Films, the UK’s Smoke Puppy, and Switzerland’s Rita Productions, with key heads of departments including Robbie Ryan as the director of photography and Dixie Chassay as the casting director. High End reunites Cassidy, Nivola, and Pearce, who previously worked together in The Brutalist. The production has received support from various organizations, including Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland and the Swiss Federal Office of Culture.
Executive producers of the film include Tassilo Hallbauer for Beta, Greg Martin for Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland, and Oisín O’Neill for BCP, among others. The screenplay for High End was developed with the support of the British Film Institute and Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland. This film marks Campbell-Hughes’ second feature as a director, following her debut at SXSW in 2022.
