The Vampire Lestat: Season 3 Premiere Date and Musical Single Revealed
AMC has announced the premiere date for Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat on Sunday, June 7. The network has also released the second musical single from the show's protagonist, Lestat de Lioncourt, titled “All Fall Down,” composed by Daniel Hart and performed by Sam Reid. The song is featured in the show’s opening sequence.
In the upcoming season, The Vampire Lestat embarks on a rock and roll tour while grappling with his tumultuous past. As his band gains popularity, Lestat's influence over vampires and humans grows, leading to conflicts amidst a surge in the vampire population. The series features a talented cast including Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, Delainey Hayles, and Jennifer Ehle, and is produced by Mark Johnson, Rolin Jones, Hannah Moscovitch, Christopher Rice, and the late Anne Rice.
The Vampire Lestat shared his thoughts on the new single, mentioning the harmonies on the chorus and his own contributions to the song. Composer Daniel Hart described “All Fall Down” as a reflection of the evolving sound of Lestat's band and the character's transformation throughout the season, showcasing a wilder and more humorous side.
