Tragic Crash in Inverclyde: Man Loses Life in Collision with Parked Car
A tragic incident occurred in Inverclyde where a man lost his life in a crash involving a parked car. Scott McFadden was a passenger in a Volkswagen Golf when it collided with an unoccupied Peugeot in the Clune Brae area of Port Glasgow on December 16, 2024. Despite the efforts of emergency services, the 38-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The 52-year-old female driver involved in the crash was arrested in December 2024 and has now been charged in connection with the incident on March 11, 2026. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal as the investigation continues.
