50,000,000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong - The Music Of Elvis Presley: A Tribute Concert at Keokuk's Grand Theater

The upcoming band performance at Keokuk's Grand Theater on March 21, titled "50,000,000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong - The Music Of Elvis Presley," was not influenced by insider trading knowledge from the success of the new Elvis Presley blockbuster film "Elvis: Epic." Organizer Craig Moore, a lifelong Elvis fan and Keokuk Senior High graduate, shared how the idea for the show came about after a friend suggested highlighting Elvis's lesser-known live performances.
The band, comprised of talented local musicians, embarked on a journey to bring to life the incredible records of Elvis Presley that are rarely performed live. Over eight months of rehearsals, the group honed their skills and developed a deep appreciation for Elvis's music, culminating in a show featuring 42 songs performed by a diverse ensemble of lead vocalists and instrumentalists.
The show is not centered around an Elvis impersonator but focuses on showcasing the music itself as heard on the original records. With a mix of lead vocalists, a horn section, dual keyboards, and more, the band aims to deliver a memorable experience for both dedicated Elvis fans and newcomers to his music.
While Moore keeps some surprises under wraps, he promises a diverse setlist that includes hits, B-sides, album tracks, movie material, and more. Drawing from his own personal experiences growing up with Elvis's music, Moore emphasizes the lasting impact of Elvis's musical legacy and the joy of sharing it with audiences.
The band's mission is to pay tribute to Elvis's musical legacy and remind audiences of the timeless quality of his music beyond his iconic image. "50,000,000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong - The Music Of Elvis Presley" will take the stage at the Grand Theater in Keokuk on March 21, promising a night of unforgettable performances celebrating the King of Rock 'n' Roll.
