Enhancing Access Control with Genetec Security Center SaaS: Streamlining Operations and Modernizing Security Systems

These updates aim to simplify daily operations for security teams and provide organizations with more flexibility and control as they modernize their security systems. The enhancements include a new front desk experience, faster access to core security tasks, expanded intrusion panel support, and optional biometric capabilities, all without the need for disruptive infrastructure changes.
The front desk is a crucial control point for many organizations, but managing visitor check-in and cardholder access separately can be inefficient. With Security Center SaaS, visitor check-in and access workflows are integrated into a single cloud-based experience, allowing front desk staff to process visitors quickly while maintaining oversight for security teams. This approach streamlines visitor management and ensures consistent controls without adding complexity at reception.
Security Center SaaS is designed to modernize operations without requiring organizations to overhaul their existing hardware infrastructure. The platform's open architecture and Genetec Cloudlink appliances enable organizations to bring their current access control and intrusion hardware into the cloud while retaining full control over their infrastructure and modernization pace. The ecosystem is expanding to support a wider range of hardware, including intrusion panels from Radionix (formerly Bosch) and Honeywell, with DMP support coming soon. Additionally, a new integration with SAFR SCAN allows organizations to implement facial authentication for enhanced security and convenience.
The new front desk experience is now available to all Security Center SaaS users, while expanded intrusion support for Honeywell Galaxy intrusion panels is already available, with DMP support expected by June 2026. The SAFR biometrics integration will also be available by June 2026. Genetec will be showcasing the latest version of Security Center SaaS at ISC West in booth 13062.
