Stranger Things: Tales From '85 Theatrical Preview at AMC Cinemas
Netflix is teaming up with AMC Theatres to offer a sneak peek of the animated series Stranger Things: Tales From ‘85. The first two episodes, totaling about 55 minutes, will be shown in select AMC cinemas on April 18, five days before the full season premieres on Netflix. The preview will be available in 34 AMC theaters across 20 states, as well as at the Netflix-run Paris Theater in New York and the Netflix House in Philadelphia, with two showings at noon and 3 p.m. local time.
Stranger Things: Tales From ‘85 takes place in the winter of 1985, bridging the gap between seasons two and three of the main series. The story follows Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, and Max as they try to enjoy a normal life filled with D&D, snowball fights, and quiet days. However, a terrifying threat emerges from beneath the ice, prompting the group to unravel a mystery and save Hawkins from danger. Eric Robles serves as the showrunner for Tales From ‘85, with Matt and Ross Duffer, the creators of Stranger Things, as executive producers.
