Oracle: The Sonic Journey of Sister Ghost's Upcoming EP

Sister Ghost, the musical project of Derry artist Shannon Delores O’Neill, has unveiled details about her upcoming EP, Oracle. Described as a powerful testament to truth and new beginnings, Oracle is a sonic journey of clarity and renewal, leaving behind the past wasteland. The EP, consisting of four tracks including Incantation, Crashland, Embers, and Not Your Toy, was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Brad Wood and drummer Jeff Friedl. The second single from the EP, Embers, is now available, exploring the theme of growth over the comfort of the past.

Sister Ghost has also announced upcoming UK shows in support of the EP, with performances scheduled in London, Glasgow, and Edinburgh. The music of Sister Ghost combines elements of art-rock and dark power-pop, drawing inspiration from '90s alt-rock and influential female voices like Patti Smith, Stevie Nicks, Kate Bush, and Liz Phair. Shannon Delores O’Neill, the force behind Sister Ghost, is not only a talented musician but also a change-maker, having founded Girls Rock! NI in 2016, a music initiative empowering young women and gender-expansive musicians in Northern Ireland. Sister Ghost is a rising Irish artist to watch in 2026.
