Foo Fighters Exclusive Performance at St James' Church in Daingean Uí Chúis to Air on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player Worldwide

RTÉ2 has revealed that the exclusive performance by Foo Fighters at St James' Church in Daingean Uí Chúis will be broadcast on RTÉ2 on Easter Monday, April 6, at 9:30pm and will also be available on RTÉ Player worldwide. The hour-long episode will feature tracks from Foo Fighters' upcoming album, Your Favorite Toy, as well as fan-favorites like My Hero, Everlong, and Times Like These, and the rare track A320, performed live for the first time since 2000.
The performance was recorded last month as a secret show for a limited audience of 80 fans to celebrate the upcoming release of their new album. This special program brings one of the world's biggest rock bands to one of Ireland's most cherished musical venues, kicking off Other Voices' 25th anniversary celebrations.
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl expressed his excitement about the unique experience of performing in a church in Ireland, a first for the band. Other Voices founder Philip King described the performance as a privilege and a musical gift, calling it the smallest stadium gig in the world and a significant moment in the history of Other Voices.
Executive Producer for RTÉ, Justin Healy, highlighted the significance of Foo Fighters choosing Dingle, Other Voices, and RTÉ as the venue for this special performance. He teased the audience with promises of iconic hits and new material performed live from the Church of St James in Dingle, expressing his excitement to share the experience with Irish and global fans through RTÉ Player.
Fans can look forward to an unforgettable musical experience as Foo Fighters take the stage at St James' Church in Dingle for a one-of-a-kind performance that combines their classic hits with new material, all captured in an intimate setting. Don't miss this exclusive event on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player on Easter Monday.
