Former FBI Director James Comey Subpoenaed in Miami as Part of Justice Department's Investigation into Obama-Era Intelligence Officials

Former FBI Director James Comey has been subpoenaed by federal prosecutors in Miami as part of the Justice Department's investigation into Obama-era intelligence officials. The investigation, which began last year, has seen over 130 subpoenas issued. In November, former CIA Director John Brennan, former FBI counterintelligence official Peter Strzok, former FBI attorney Lisa Page, and former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe were also subpoenaed as part of the probe. Recent subpoenas have been sent to former intelligence officials, expanding the date range from 2016 to the present day.

Representatives for Comey have not yet commented on the subpoena. The investigation, which was initiated by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, alleges a "treasonous conspiracy" by former top Obama administration intelligence officials in 2016 to undermine the Trump campaign and presidency. The subpoenas seek documents related to this subject matter.
