Lollapalooza is making its return to Chicago's Grant Park from July 30 to August 2, 2026, with a diverse lineup spanning pop, rock, hip-hop, and electronic music genres. Headliners for this year's festival include Olivia Dean, Lorde, Charli XCX, Tate McRae, John Summit, JENNIE, The Smashing Pumpkins, and The xx, showcasing a mix of global stars and varied musical styles.
In addition to the headliners, the festival will feature a wide array of performers such as Lil Uzi Vert, Yungblud, Clipse, Major Lazer, The Chainsmokers, Zara Larsson, Wet Leg, Turnstile, Empire of the Sun, and Aespa. The lineup also includes rising artists like Freddie Gibbs, Little Simz, Duke Dumont, Geese, Leon Thomas, and Wolf Alice, as well as emerging talents such as Audrey Hobert, Sienna Spiro, Skye Newman, Adéla, and Die Spitz, representing a mix of international and local acts.
With over 100 artists set to perform across eight stages during the four-day event, Lollapalooza continues its legacy as one of the largest music festivals in the U.S. The festival also highlights Chicago's local music scene through its "Chicago Made" showcase, celebrating the city's homegrown talent. Originally launched in 1991 as a touring festival, Lollapalooza has become a permanent fixture in Chicago since 2005 and has expanded globally to cities in South America, Europe, and Asia.
Now in its 22nd Chicago edition, Lollapalooza attracts around 400,000 attendees annually and plays a significant role in driving summer tourism in the city. Tickets for the festival go on presale on Thursday morning, with four-day general admission starting at $399. Prices will increase once the general sale begins later that day. Premium packages are available, ranging from GA+ and VIP tiers to high-end experiences with exclusive viewing areas and concierge services, with top-tier packages priced at $29,000.
